Mallorca

Cycling holiday in Mallorca

Spend six days riding Mallorca’s greatest hits — a compact island of world-class tarmac, cliffline coastal roads and quiet inland lanes between orange groves and stone villages. We base ourselves close to the Tramuntana mountains for easy access to the island’s most iconic climbs: Sa Calobra, Puig Major, Coll de Sóller, Cap de Formentor, and the rolling ridge roads above Deià and Valldemossa.

Expect a daily rhythm of big switchbacks and big views followed by swims, café cortados and simple plates done perfectly — grilled fish by the harbour, rustic pa amb oli, almond cake and ice-cold cerveza or catalan wine. The challenge is real but balanced: long climbs with gentle gradients, silky descents and recovery spins along sunlit coast. In six days you’ll taste the full character of the island — mountains, coves, monasteries, villages — and understand why Mallorca is the gold standard for European road cycling retreats.

Mallorca is a paradise for cycling with typically warm temperatures in April. During April, the island is relatively quiet and ideal for riding bikes.

With LAUTARET Adventures, its as much a social experience as a sporting achievement.

Route des Grandes Alpes: Geneva - Nice

Route des Grandes Alpes: Geneva - Nice

Supported cycling trip : Route des Grandes Alpes 2026

Ride the full length of the Route des Grandes Alpes in seven days — 624 km and 13,000 m of vertical gain from lakeside Geneva to the palm trees and turquoise sea of Nice. This is one of the great point-to-point journeys in cycling, a parade of mythic passes stitched together by tiny valleys, balcony roads and quiet mountain towns. Along the way you crest giants like the Col du Galibier, Col de l’Iseran, Col de la Colombière, Col de Vars, and Col d’Izoard — names that echo through Tour de France history.

The riding is big and honest: long, steady ascents above the treeline, switchback descents that run for kilometres, and daily elevation that makes every col feel earned. Recovery is part of the pleasure — alpine cheese dishes in chalet dining rooms, tartiflette and fondue on cold-air evenings, and bakery stops for fresh blueberry tarte in mountain villages. Each day ends somewhere new, adding a sense of pilgrimage: start in the calm order of Switzerland, crossing the roof of France, and rolling all the way to the Mediterranean with seven days of mountains in your legs.

Highlights

  • Arriving at the Mediterranean sea with views from the Col d’Eze

  • Finishing the ride on the famous Promenade des Anglais in Nice

  • Riding out of Geneva with views of Mont Blanc

  • Climbing and descending classic Cols:

    • Galibier

7 Majeurs

Cycling adventure: 7 Majeurs

Take on one of Europe’s most prestigious climbing collections — the 7 Majeurs — condensed into a four-day, high-altitude road adventure across France and Italy. Expect sustained gradients, hairpins stacked skyward and long days in the saddle with 380km and over 10 000m of vertical in total. The effort is matched by reward: riding from one culinary culture to the next, from French pastry mornings to multi-course Italian dinners in hilltop villages where trattorie serve four-course menus with local wine.

We start and finish in Barcelonnette, a small French culinary hub and perfect base for big-mountain riding. To strike the sweet spot between enjoyment and sporting challenge we climb two 2000 m+ cols per day for the first three days, rolling through balcony roads and high passes that trade France for Italy and back again. Day four is a single, decisive crescendo: the Cime de la Bonette — the highest paved road in France — a monumental final ascent before a long descent back to Barcelonnette and a well-earned final dinner. Four days, two countries, seven giants — and a gastronomic meal finish to celebrate the achievement.

With LAUTARET Adventures, its as much a social experience as a sporting achievement.

Included:

  • Comfortable nights in 3* hotels with full board

  • Healthy breakfast, lunch and evening meals with local Italian and French cuisine

  • Reassurance of mechanical assistance on the bike

Norway gravel adventure August 2026

Norway gravel cycling adventure 2026

Spend eight unforgettable days riding through Norway’s wildest scenery — a landscape where deep blue fjords carve into mountains and tiny farms cling to impossibly steep slopes. This trip combines remote gravel with smooth, quiet tarmac, taking you across high plateaus, alpine passes and ribbons of cycling road that feel made for two wheels. We tackle two of Norway’s most iconic routes — the historic Rallarvegen and the panoramic Mjolkevegen — linking them with a hand-picked mix of fjordside lanes and gravel tracks through open wilderness.

Expect real “wow” moments: rolling over a high pass and dropping into a valley of hairpin bends spiralling down toward a fjord; cruising across empty gravel with nothing but peaks, waterfalls and sky for company; sharing long, mellow climbs followed by descents you will talk about for years. If you want a week of pure immersion — wild nature, big views and world-class riding.

Tour of Corsica

Cycling adventure:
Tour of Corsica

Ride the “island of beauty” end-to-end on six days of pure road cycling through one of the most dramatic coast-and-mountain landscapes in Europe. We trace balcony roads above sapphire coves, skirt cliff-lined gulfs and thread inland over high forested passes and red-rock massifs. The journey begins on the wind-brushed peninsula of Cap Corse, then swings south via the sculpted cliffs of Piana and finishes among the jagged spires of the Aiguilles de Bavella — an all-killer itinerary of legendary Corsican roads.

Expect big sensory contrast every day: early-morning light on empty coastal switchbacks, the echo of wheels in quiet chestnut valleys, long steady climbs followed by set-piece descents that drop toward medieval hill towns and turquoise seas.
