Backcountry Skiing in Svaneti, Georgia

Programme: 8 days ski touring in the Caucaus mountains. The mighty Ushba mountain 4710m dominates a wild Snaveti mountain landscape caked in cold dry snow fed by the Black Sea.

Discover the remote mountains of Svaneti on an unforgettable backcountry ski adventure based in Mestia, Georgia. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Greater Caucasus, Svaneti offers exceptional terrain, deep winter snow and a genuinely off-the-beaten-track skiing experience.

Our February 2027 trip combines guided backcountry skiing with the unique culture, landscapes and hospitality of this remarkable region. Expect big mountain scenery, powder snow, challenging terrain and an adventure far removed from the crowds of Europe's major ski resorts.
