Location: Saint André les Alpes, Haut Verdon, France

Programme: 5 days paragliding in the southern French Alps with experienced instructors

Objective: We will travel around the best flying sites of the region with thermal flying and long mountain ridges.

Saint André les Alpes is a world renowned paragliding site with Mont Chalvet above the turquoise waters of Castillon Lake. It is the the site of many paragliding competitions.

Moustiers-Sainte-Marie offers ridge soaring, cross country flying and thermals above a cristaline lake and world famous Gorges du Verdon. Expect views of lavender fields and Mont Ventoux.

Level required: I am a competent independent pilot in calm conditions with an initial certificate. Thermal and cross country level pilots are welcome.

Health & travel insurance including cancellation

Your mandatory insurance required for paragliding

Your glider and equipment (harnesses, reserve parachutes, radios and helmets)

Each pilot’s equipment must be in good working order with a glider that has been checked and certified by a workshop with a reserve parachute and an approved paragliding helmet. Altitude Adventures cannot be held responsible for any failure to meet insurance obligations relating to “Free Flight/Vol libre” activity.
