Clothing care
Your clothes were made with love in the Alps. Please take care of them.
They have been designed to be robust and long lasting.
Washing at a medium or cold temperature prevents damage to the fabrics and chamois padding. We recommend all garments to be washed at 30 degrees either in the machine or hand washed.
Hot cycles in the machine will limit the longevity and functionality of the garments.
Before putting your bib shorts in the machine, there are things you can do to make the cleaning more
Turn the shorts inside out, put a pre-wash agent directly on the chamois and let it soak to remove any dirt and odours. This can be achieved with a detergent or any special cleaning product.
Close the zippers and velcro fastenings, these can easily snag on the fabrics
Turn inside out any screen printed or sublimated graphics to protect them.
Wash your cycling clothes as delicates, they shouldn’t be mixed with heavy towels or hard fabrics such as jeans. Use the delicate cycle on your machine.
Do NOT use fabric softener or biological detergents on your cycling clothes. This can ruin waterproofing and membranes.
Do NOT use the dryer. Your cycle clothing should be air dried. Even low temperatures in the dryer will impact the performance.
